"Bitter, I'll give you bitter"

Certainly I am bitter. I want my candidates to be elitist. I want them to be the best of us....Can it be true that Americans want a leader who will stop and help them change a tire on the side of the road? Is that the litmus test? They have hillary downing shots like an old pro but Barack won't imbibe. Is it the fellow that they'd have over to a Bar-B-Que that they want in the Oval Office? Do we really want a President who follows Hoops Scores? Are we so afraid of an intellectual? Barack was not wrong when he said Americans were concentrating on Guns and religion in their bitterness but perhaps he shouldn't have said so.... Hillary even exhorted the populace to "get to know me, you'll see i'm not so bad~!"....However the big story here is that the candidates are running against the media. It's not that big a deal but it has become the story that won't die. The media is to blame here as they are in so many other debacles. I simply cannot believe what has become of professional journalism. Regarding the decimation of the industry in the digital age, They get what they deserve. Polls if you can believe them indicate that a generic Democrat will defeat a generic Republican....owing to the sad state of affairs that the amicable fellow they elected last time has left us in. The voters are at least smart enough to know that they cannot use the same tired old criteria anymore. Go into mid America and ask them!....But what of the Dem's if Hillary and Barack keep sniping at each other and have to battle the media at the same time? No clear advantage is being gained by either candidate but both their stock in trade is being devalued by this dynamic. The old republican is on the sidelines, smiling I assure you. Who Is the electorate afraid of more, a Black man or a Woman? Perhaps Barack should go live and ask the question."Where all The White Women At?" and wait to see who gets the joke!
